I was home schooled at home for all 13 years of my education and I feel that it prepared me well for life.

Several things about homeschooling. You need to know the laws for your state. The Department of Education in most states has some sort of requirements that you must fulfill. Examples include: a supervisory teacher to check up 3-4 times a year or a requirement of standardized testing once a year to make sure you're progressing.
