In this video, I begin going through course options for College Prep homeschoolers. We start with 8th-grade math. Yes, 8th-grade math.
I talk about a few curriculums here, but I prefer you go through some curriculum reviews and choose for yourself. My preference, however, is Khan Academy, and even if you use another curriculum, I like to use Khan Academy as a supplement. Why? It teaches to mastery, and it is FREE.

Time4learing VS. Free Public School Curriculum (update)
Years ago I made a video about Time4Learning vs. a public school at home program like K-12 for instance. In this video, I am sharing further explanation about the difference between the programs and changes since I have used it.

Bad Homeschooling

This video discusses my favorite free websites that I use to homeschool teenagers. Some of them (hippocampus and learner.org) suggest accompanying textbooks which I purchase from Amazon.com. I get most of the novels that the kids use (to go along with sparknotes.com) from the library and paperback swap.
