Algebra 2 11.07j - Trig Tables
How we used to find trigonometric values before we had calculators. We looked them up in printed tables. Hipparchus, the "Father of Trigonometry" was the first person to compute and use trigonometric tables. Although we don't know exactly how he did it, we can speculate on some techniques and theorems he may have used. Modern calculators use different methods involving more advanced theory to produce very fast and accurate results.
