Texas Statewide Homebuyer Education Program
In 2016, TDHCA launched Texas Homebuyer U , offering a tuition free and convenient online homebuyer education course. The two-hour "Becoming A Homeowner" course will walk a potential homebuyer through three important phases of the home buying process: one, preparing for homeownership; two, financing your home; and three, purchasing your home. A Certificate of Completion is provided to all individuals who successfully complete the course.
